πŸŽ‰ Mint Season 4 Debuts Ft. 20 Web3 Creators

πŸŽ™ E1: Why NFTs are the Perfect Medium for Songs

Today is a very special day :)

I’m excited to reveal the star-studded lineup comprising Mint Season 4.

This season is different than the rest. How so?

Well, for the next couple of months, we’ll be focusing primarily on the development of one key theme in the space: ✨ MUSIC✨

I’ll be documenting the top stories making headwinds across web3 with the sole intention of providing a framework and insights for more creators to replicate across their crypto journeys.

Why Music?

We’re witnessing the emergence of a new class of creators, one that’s very near and dear to me.

In my YouTube videos, you may have noticed a drumset lurking in the background of my room.

The reason being, well, I’m a drummer and have been playing since the age of five years old. While I never made a paying career out of it, my first love encompassed music, and my second, crypto. :)

So for this entire season, I want to celebrate and help capture stories of record-breaking musicians and mainstream creators like Gary Vee, 3LAU, and BLOND:ISH, all the way to up n coming artists like Daniel Allan, Grady, and Xcelencia, to name a few.

I also want to highlight the platforms and investors that help make their creator economy a reality hence why we have Catalog, Arpeggi Labs, and more.

Oh, and finally, I want to introduce discussions around public goods for creators, as well as the development of mid and long-form mp4s like music videos and movies in web3.

Current State of Music NFTs

Within the last year, we’ve witnessed the rise of music NFT platforms, artists, and investors emerge like a phoenix β€” an energy that’s quite analogous to that of January 2021 for pre-mainstream awareness of digital art NFTs.

Underground creators with minimal social support are breaking their glass ceilings and redefining the relationship with their community.

Minting platforms are designing unique experiences, placing the creator at the forefront of their craft.

Fans have become financial backers and long-term community members, taking their support for the music and art they love and adore to the next level.

It’s all happening right now, and I couldn’t be more excited to document the entire process.

So without further ado, here’s Mint Season 4 Episode 1 :) πŸ‘‡

πŸŽ™ Episode 1 // Empowering Creative Flow: Why NFTs are the Perfect Medium for Songs

Mint Season 4 episode 1 welcomes Kyle and Evan Dhillon, two brothers on a journey to empower the creative value of music by orchestrating on-chain music production tools for creators.Β

They’ve built the first and only blockchain music creation platform, providing tools for the next generation of creators to compose, collaborate and sell their music on-chain.

I hope you enjoy our conversation.
